Very nice hotel, situated in a quiet area, on a lake. The swimming pool is not too small, you can take a relaxing walk around the lake. The restaurant is quite good if you stick to local dishes (don’t try Thai food, it has nothing to do with the original). Good service, friendly staff. The location is far from the city center, but if you are in Groningen for a vacation, this is a very good option.

A very nice place to stay while in Groningen- great location by the lake, so you have beautiful views and peacefulness. Can't walk to the city center though - it's a bit far, but there is a bus stop nearby. You can also rent a bike at the hotel (or a boat!). Spacious free parking just at the front. Friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. Clean and comfortable rooms although might give you a gloomy impression at first due to dark interior design. Very quiet. Worth recommending! :)

Excellent room and bed. Breakfast with a lot of choices. Very helpful service at the welcome desk. A lot of free parking space available in front of the hotel.

The hotel offers a free shuttle on weekends which is very useful because the hotel is around 40min by foot and 20min by bike from the city center. The reception is open for all questions and very friendly. The room was spacious with an amazing view - the bed was very comfortable. The room has a free electric kettle for tee or coffee. The swimming pool is a bit small but more than enough.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. The location is both lovely and not convenient. Lovely because of it's beautiful setting by the lake, not good because of its lack of access to public transport.

Splendid location. Splendid view from our room. Very spacious rooms. Great breakfast - a lot of items to choose from. You can also request fried egg. Laundry facilties were great.

Large bright hotel, with plenty of parking and lovely views and walks at the back of it. It also had free wi fi. We didn't pay the extra they wanted for breakfast opting to by something locally instead whilst on a walk around the surrounding area. We did however book into the restaurant on both evenings which had delicious food at reasonable prices with lovely staff and a lovely view. The double room was bright, spacious and very clean with coffee and tea making facilities which is always a bonus. The bathroom was also very clean, large enough and had a walk-in shower which was lovely. We had a delightful stay and spent a whole day in the sunshine going for a walk round the lake and local area. We would definitely recommend staying in this hotel.

It has a very nice location by a large lake with an amazing view over the water. The pool is really good with a comfortable temperature and brought much joy to our kids. The staff are friendly and the food in the restaurant is really nice. We had a family room for 4 persons in 2nd floor. The room was great with a good size and we were lucky to have a view of the lake. A big plus was also that there are plenty of parking boots and that we could charce our electrical vehicle free of charge.
